Event 1- Fri 17th March
Elsham, near Brigg
Elsham Golf Club was established in 1900 and is recognised as one of the premier golf courses in Lincolnshire. The club is situated just five minutes off the M180 Junction 5.
The tranquil, well wooded course is gently undulating being part parkland and part heathland. After a straight-forward par four start, the second hole presents a challenge.
This 350 yard par 4 has a sharp dog leg to the right and an accurate tee shot is needed to present the best opportunity for a short iron second to a gentle
undulating green guarded by trees and a stream on the left. 6,426 yards, Par 71

Wortley, near Sheffield
Wortley Golf Club is a picturesque parkland course located just off the A629 and is easily and quickly accessible from junctions 35A and 36 of
the M1. The course is characterised by tree lined fairways, fast undulating greens, and good putting surfaces set in the historic Wharncliffe Estate.
The club was founded in 1894 and with only one par five, a series of long par fours and five tricky par three’s there are few easy birdie opportunities. It presents challenges to golfers of all abilities.

Founded in 1906, Horsforth Golf Club, designed by Dr Alistair Mackenzie combines short holes with some altogether more substantial
challenges. The heathland the course was built on is slowly changing due to tree planting over the last thirty years. The 1st begins with a slight
incline away from the Clubhouse and is protected by a ditch on the right and OOB on the left, the course continues by offering a variety of par
3’s & 4’s and ending with the 550 yard par 5 18th, over the brow of a hill to a green protected by a stream at the front. 6,258 yards, Par 71

Dunscar, near Bolton
Dunscar Golf Club was founded in 1908 in the valley of Galebrook between Turton Heights and Winter Hill. It offers peace, tranquility and fine uninterrupted views, despite being only 3 miles from the centre of Bolton. The signature hole is the 16th (Quarry) and is one of the most
picturesque on the course. It is a short par three with four bunkers on the right and heather and gorse surrounding the front. The 12th and 17th
also offer especially scenic views.

Mottram Hall & Golf Resort
Overnight trip to Mottram Hall. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast + 2 rounds. Based on 2 sharing a room. 20 places £35 deposit
Mottram Hall Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 72 golf course designed by the international golf architect, Dave Thomas.
The Course is set in magnificent Cheshire parkland with beautiful tree lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers which add to the challenge of this great golf course.
With straight driving a prerequisite at Mottram, golfers are advised to make use of the driving range before stepping out on this challenging and enjoyable course.

Low Laithes, near Wakefield
Founded in 1925 and designed by the world-renowned Dr Alister Mackenzie, Low Laithes is a parkland course with tight fairways and fast greens.
The course is undulating without being hilly and has a variety of outstanding features which make every hole different. The par 3 holes, though not
excessively long, are demanding as is the final, par 5 hole, a test for the most accomplished golfer.

Captain’s Day Ilkley
One of the finest golf clubs in Yorkshire. Nestled in the beautiful Wharfe Valley with the famous Moor as a backdrop, Ilkley is one of the most
picturesque courses in the country. Ilkley Golf Club has Mark James and Colin Montgomerie as Honorary Life Members, Colin learnt his golf at Ilkley.
The 6276 yard course is a great deal more difficult than it might first appear with the River Wharfe acting as an ever-present threat for the first seven holes of this tree-lined course.

Malton & Norton
Autumn get together. Bacon sandwich & coffee, 18 holes then one course dinner
Malton and Norton Golf Club is a 27 hole, easy walking, parkland course, with three loops of nine all leading back at the clubhouse.
Playing 9 holes in the morning on the Derwent Course then 9 holes on Welham. The Derwent is shorter in distance with tight fairways,
plenty of water and tricky greens make it great fun for golfers of all abilities. The Welham is as fantastic tree lined parkland course,
with some of the best greens in the area.
